I'm hosting this week's watercolor challenge. We are painting plaids with watercolors. It's fun and relaxing. I took a fun gnome digi and dressed him in some buffalo plaid to bring home his plaid tree. After doing the tree, added white lines with a ruler and gel pen. Added sky and tree line and the sentiment. Hope you can join us and show us your creation.

That gnome must feel so happy that he is just as big as your beautiful tree! The lines you drew over your plaid really make it look dimensional! A great challenge this week!

Yes, you knew how excited I would be when I saw plaid as the challenge! And how much fun I'm going to have browsing the gallery. Love me some diy plaid, and this gnome lumberjack's shirt and tree are fab!

Gorgeous and adorable! Water coloring is amazing as always. Your cards, always so beautiful. Sky, extra trees, ground, all the details that make your scene come alive. Phenomenal...

This might be the coolest gnome card I have seen, Linda. GREAT plaid on his shirt and super plaid three too. I love this scene. Wow. Your water-coloring is so good. Hugz
