It's time for another Color Challenge, and also the beginning of Falliday Fest, two weeks of challenges and tutorials to kick off our autumn card making.
Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has asked us to make anything Christmas (dessert option) using Cherry Cobbler, Just Jade and Soft Seafoam.
I decided to use these colors and play in the first Falliday tutorial, a Triple Fold Card. You can find the tutorial here. This fold is quick and easy and creates a really interesting card. I didn't have DS paper for the green shades, so I made my own with Seafoam cardstock, Jade ink, and a background stamp.
I used the wreath die-cut from last month's Paper Pumpkin kit, and also a bit of cherry cobbler twine. The belly band features some ancient washi tape. And there's a "Joy" die cut in the center of the wreath, cut from gold foil paper. To top it all off, I added four enamel dots in Just Jade in the centers of a few snowflakes.
There's fun coming up on SCS, and I hope you'll play along. Oh, and there are prizes for Falliday Fest, too!

I love this spin on the Paper Pumpkin wreath, Barbara! I would have never guessed that you made the green "dsp". Your pattern blends so beautifully with the others.

Your card is exactly the reason I always read everyones photo details. So impressed that the Jade DP is actually a stamped piece - very cool! Great work.
