It's time for a new Watercolor Wednesday Challenge and Brenda has chosen a relaxing Cloud tutorial for us. I chose the second technique in the video. This might be a first for me, this was my first attempt! I just loved how the colors ran and moved.
I am also participating in this week's Teapot Challenge. The challenge is to represent how we have felt in 2020! I mentioned in the Challenge Chat/General Stamping Talk Thread here at SCS that I have struggled with being blue a lot this year so I have bright blue clouds. It sort of looks like the wind is blowing those clouds across the sky and I have certainly felt blown away a lot this year. I have also spent more time praying for others. ***edit. It was late when I posted this so I forgot to mention that I have also spent more time walking and hiking in 2020 and I always LOVE looking at the sky and clouds while I walk!
I have added pink to my sky because I am also participating in the Art Nudge. I was delighted to find that both the Art Nudge and WCW Challenge were exactly the same!

Beautiful, peaceful sky. I also enjoy hiking or even just walking around the neighborhood, and did a lot of it, especially in the spring when we were all getting used to be cooped up.

So very lovely - I'm sorry you've been blue - I think it's common with this crazy pandemic we're in but you always have the kindest words for everyone!

This is so very pretty and thanks for your blurb. I have had periodic blue episodes...especially lately. I am sure it is more common with all of us this weird year. Your art always intrigues and amazes me. Great work.

You certainly did nail it. The scene is a beauty and I love that the clouds look so light and wispy blowing in a gentle breeze. "Blue" is a color that can be so many things. I think most thing sad, but the epitome of hope and happiness is a "blue sky". And, I hope you see many, many more blue skies in your future. Hugs and stay safe.
