I stamped my trees in green and overstamped with brown so they didn't look too bright. The cloud section was wet with a flat brush and then I painted on blue ink. I think the darker ink is best if you have it. Then, I took a tissue and dabbed in different areas to create the clouds. In the tutorial I left you, I did the top one.
Sure hope you will join us this week. I can't wait to see your clouds.

Brenda, this is just so gorgeous! I love the vibrancy of the paints and it's a wonderful sympathy card to bring comfort, for sure. You've taken us on a lovely watercolor tour this week!

I love that ultramarine sky as a backdrop for your row of evergreens. You have created such a beautiful depth of color for your card. It is a touching Sympathy greeting.

Beautiful depth achieved in your blue sky Brenda - the light shines through with your clouds above the tree line - the sentiment is lovely front and center of your scene!

Oh my what an amazing card! Your sky is so beautifully done and the idea of adding the brown to the trees is even more realistic. This makes a perfect sympathy card, well designed!

Beautiful . . . .over stamping your trees with a bit of brown really adds realism to them - Loving the streaks coming from the lower portion of your clouds - that is exactly what our sky's look like on the rare occasion when it rains here.

What a beauty. Love the cloud-filled skies behind the pines (my favorite tree!). This card would be fabulous for any occasion but I think the serenity of this scene is especially appropriate for a sympathy card. Beautiful.
