Yes, I made a tent card for Margaretha. Maybe I'm getting over my fun fold f(ph)obia. I had already started this and then thought it might be fun to amp it up a bit more for her.
Why does Sizzix have the two 'z' but scissors has two 's'??? I need to know this.
Back to the card: To make the grass, I swiped the mowed lawn on white and cut the blades of grass with a scissors (scizzors) especially for that. I sponged the clouds on the inside with a Post-It and sponging tool. Cut the little flowers that might be tulips from dark green, red and yellow cs. The only stamp I used is on the back of the base.
A lady across the street from me is probably 103 by now. I haven't seen her in a long time but I know she's still there because her son lives down the street and he and his wife visit often and take care of the house. I don't know if I want to live that long but, hey, if you're pretty functional and enjoy life, why not???

Yay you on another fun fold this week, Jean - you're really going wild. This is so sweet and happy-making with the bright colours and singing birds. That woodgrain paper is lovely - I thought you'd done it yourself as direct to paper.

You sure had a lot of patience cutting out all these elements to make this fabulous card! I especially like the birdies. I'm doubly flattered that you made this card for this week's Teapot Challenge - we work very hard behind the scenes. Your write up literally made me LOL - scissors (better question is why is there a C in the spelling?). Thank you so much for the crafty love!

Your fun fold card is fun indeed. Love all the elements, but especially those cute tulips tucked in the corner. And, of course, the birds. Gotta love any card with birds.
So, here's a link to how Sizzix got it's name. It might explain the ZZZZZZ. I live in Southern California and have driven the highway mentioned in article and know the street name. Fun story. The part about the name is about half way through the article. Enjoy.

Your cards are just gorgeous Jean, and this is no exception. I love how you took a wonderful wreath card and made it a beautiful bird card instead- how fun! ~Karen.
