Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us some lovely fall colors to work with: Cinnamon Cider, Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral. The dessert option is "your favorite green."
I started with a piece of Bristol cardstock, and blended the DOX versions of the three challenge colors. Then I placed a stencil over it and pounced through the stencil with a sponge dipped in white craft ink (Thank you, Jennifer McGuire!). On another piece of Bristol cardstock, I sponged more of the yellow, brown and green shades. Then I die cut those with the daisy dies. I used a sponge dauber to add the coral color onto each petal tip, curled the petals, and stacked the layers.
I stamped the sentiment, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. (Distress Oxide inks are great for heat embossing!) Cut out the rectangle with a stitched die added the flower and leaves, along with some gems for a little sparkle.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!
