The fabric reminded me of a card that a SCS friend and swap buddy, CJ sent to me as part of the Bakers Dozen swap. She sent along an extra image which I used today. Here's her card:
I was motivated by her beautiful coloring to practice with my colored pencils. I don't use them enough. I cut the colored image with a stitched rectangle die and mounted on black. The gingham scrap added to the country look.
My card will be sent a Senior friend. I send her cards at least once a month. This is a good one for the start of October; I will include some corny jokes about apples and autumn.

How cute this is, Diane! NOW I know what happened to the apples that disappeared off our trees, lol. The critters had a banner year around here..apples, peaches, strawberries, pears..all stripped from the trees/plants.
