It's tickle a teapotter day and fun to pretend that it's really Fall - El Paso will see a LOT more hot days before FLINTER (fall / winter) finally arrives!
I got a little carried away with my scarecrow and he is lots & lots of fussy cut layers (stamped multiple times) - Paper pieced the shirt and added tiny buttons made with a leather punch. Colored the rest with prismacolor pencils and added the shoe laces with white gel pen. Tied cord string around the neck waist & legs as I wouldn't want the stuffing coming out. Finished with a greeting in fussy cut block letters.

Fantastic paper piecing, Linda, and laughing at the cord (which looks great) to keep the stuffing from falling out. I like the young crop growing in the ground too. We had a brief couple of weeks of Indian summer and I was back in my shorts for cycling to work - but there's a definite nip in the air this last week.

OOH! I love this, Linda! His paper pieced plaid shirt is so fabulous! And I don't have a "Happy Fall Y'all" stamp because I don't think I need it, until I decide I do need it. Why don't I ever think that I have alphabet stamps and dies? Duh. You are amazing, my friend!
