So, we really needed a sympathy card and so, when I came across this neat card in Holley's gallery I know I could tweak it to start the card, I love the depth of the images peeking through the script so, I started off with stamping the trees with the morning mist and then the script with the hickory smoke and then I added the solid shapes with the pumice stone which was like watermarking this shade of cardstock. After I had cut the layer with the die I realized that none of the darker color from the base would be peeking out and decided that was OK, so changes are theme, colors and some stamps & less layers. Holley, I hope you like this and enjoy your week, thanks for this challenge Kittie, & tfl.

Sympathy cards are so difficult to design .... but your creation is so soothing and has such a peaceful feel to it. It's lovely with such a comforting sentiment!
