I love the way SU inks and water based inks react with this Hobby Lobby 110# cardstock. I dabbed the colors onto my glass mat, and then dried between each color. I added splatter using the Cherry Cobbler. The littles and daisies are colored with Copics, the other 2 flowers are watercolored using Pumpkin pie and Cherry Cobbler. I used a Neutral- Night of Navy and added color to the background by water coloring it in as well.
This image was rec'd in a card kit from Barb (BarbaraLynn). I did a little 'Out of the Box' when using the die cut, as you can see with the flowers hanging out over the edge.

I just recently got some of the 110# stock but have just been using it for plain card bases - This inspires me to do some experimenting as I love the looks of your marbled bg. Beautiful job of coloring too with the out of the box framing.

Beautiful background. Your flowers have so much depth they do look like they are fussycut. The stitched circle is the perfect frame for these lovely blooms. Love the colors and the layout. Wonderful card.

Shelly, I can see why Kathy (muscrat) thought the flowers were all fussy cut. The expert shading you created behind the flowers really gives them depth. Beautiful coloring, beautiful card, love the way you used the inks!
