Fun and easy technique, just wasn't sure to draw in faces, did it but very lightly, I've embossed the bg and waterolored it, die cut the kids and water colored them, used posca markers and nuvo drops, acrylic past and gel pen for the snow and highlights, to color I've used water colors (from a watercolor palette box) and water soluble pencils, blended with a little brush.

Your group of children have really come alive in this delightful wintery scene. Love all the texture in the background and the snow falling across the scene. Delightful.

Anita, your figures playing snow are so animated, I love the rich colors you have created, they are having so much fun! I was raised in a province in Canada on the east coast where winter snow was plentiful, and I have many memories of building forts and playing in the snow--delightful memories that I have enjoyed.
You have used an amazing palette of diverse products and techniques to create such realistic and wonderful textures--the snowballs, the trees, all of the effects including various coloring mediums to create the most realistic and animated scene, all of it together as a truly amazing work of art has just blown me away!!! Using such mediums together in such a creative manner shows such breadth of artistry, elegance in your style, and great maturity. You are truly a wonderful artist, and I can gaze at your work for a LONG time, taking in what you have used in combination and how, and I am truly in awe of such artistry and that your art has such maturity.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How I wish that we had Favorites of the Week, as this would be at the very top of my list--HOPING that the major technical problems will be solved so that we can again enjoy being able to honor such great artwork as this in our favorites lists each week. I am grateful for the wonderful team of staff who work so diligently to allow us to communicate and to be able to alert our favorite artists each week, so many people it takes to run this site, and I am very very grateful to all who contribute to running SCS.
I am SO SO SO BLOWN AWAY by your great artistry, Anita!!! Your artwork would definitely be one of my most favorite of my favorites of the week!!!
Blessings to you, how I admire you and your great body of truly wonderful art!
