Today's Tea Party is for Howard and Paula in Texas. Polly has challenged us to use a pattern on our cards with extra cookies if we include a star for the Lone Star State. Howard and Paula like gnomes, so I used this cute digi for the first time. I printed them out and cut them with my ScanNCut. Then I printed my punny sentiment on the inside of the card and cut off the top of the front of the card to show the sentiment. When I started looking for green paper to cut the grass, I remembered that I should include a pattern on my card. I'm really happy with my plaid grass. I think everything is better with plaid!
I love LeAnn's fun colors for her first color challenge and I matched them as well as I could. She chose "masculine" as her dessert option today. What do you think? Did I lose my dessert when I added Stickles? I just can't help myself!
I've also linked up to Kelly's DTGD challenge. I know it's several days past the deadline, but I didn't get to finish and you know how I can't let a challenge go unfinished!

Soooo cute, and what a fabulous idea to cut down the front of the card to show the sentiment! That plaid grass is awesome!
