It is Tickle a Teapotter time and Denise aka Card Crazy has us celebrating National Waterpark Day. I have had my eye on this Vera Lane Studio's digi stamp set for a while, Denise's fun challenge gave me the perfect excuse to buy it.
Here we have Little May, Daisy May, June and April along with their bikini clad cousin, Tallulah. All the girls are printed on copy paper, coloured with Prismacolour pencils, Zest it pencil blend and a colourless blending pencil. Highlights made with Jane Davenport Dotty markers, a light swipe with a distress ink walnut stained foam blending tool, than fussy cut.
The background was from my stash and was a combination of Dylusions and Ranger ink sprays and JD dotty markers. The panel was too big for what I had in mind. I had a choice of cutting off the green at the bottom or the blue across the top - neither option appealed to me so I cut an inch out of the middle. I stuck the two halves back together using double sided tape.
Unfortunately I did not remove the protective backing from the tape, meaning the recipient will see a slightly raised area right across the middle of the card. Next time I do this cut 'n shut trick I will remember to remove the tape backing.
I used my MISTI, Stazon and a fun Dylusions boarder stamp that has never seen ink and some Carabelle Studio stamps to create a waterpark theme.
I placed a strip of tape measure washi tape behind Little May and Daisy May - they might be too short for some of the activities!
Lots of Stickles were used to simulate water. I had a heap of fun making this, especially knowing that it is going to a Teapotter.
Thank you for looking and I hope you get a chance to join in. Stay safe.

Oh my goodness. This just brings a smile to my face! So fun and I love how you made a story about the two maybe being too short for certain rides. LOL!

What a fantastic card, Susie! These girls are just waiting to get wet....Cute figures as well.....I see that Tallulah has a few stitches. Must have been in an accident before the card was completed. Your cards are always amazing to me.....TFS

I am cracking up at all the comments, and of course your fantastic quintet of darlings. Dare I say, I've never been to a waterpark? Maybe in my next life. For now I will slide back several times and jump into your creative color flows. You always bring so much fun to SCS! Thank you, Susie.

Your gals are adorable but I must admit it's the bg that truly fascinates me - I am catching bits and pieces of SO many different elements - music, a ruler, what looks like a bit of a ledger sheet and on and on - Filled with color and fun!

They are totally amazing as is the background. One day, I am going to learn to color and make people this cool (maybe if the stars align just the right way anyway). I love the colors, the details, and the fun you added to this totally fabulous and very fun card. I have looked at it several times and it is delightful each time. Someone is going to be VERY lucky to get this! Hugz

So glad Denise's challenge let you splash out on these sweeties. Your background is, as always, amazing. Loving all the stamps and details that went into creating it. - and the rich colours.
p.s. you're right, there was ribbon on those flower stickers I used on my kennel card. I guess I forgot that because they were just stickers that had fallen out of my box.

Totally awesome work! Your coloring is perfection, even your fussy cutting is spot on. I love that you named these bathing cuties even adding body scars, the measuring tape detail and all the other fun details that make this card a beauty.
