I need a couple of July birthday cards, so I went floral. I used picked raspberry, mustard seed and wild honey re-inkers for the flowers, and forest moss, pine needles and wilted violet for the leaves. After stamping, I die-cut them and stamped the veining onto the leaves with a dark green. I used twisted citron DOX to stamp the centres into the flowers.
The background is an unsuccessful attempt at the striped wipe background using DOX re-inkers. But it came out soft, pale and subtle which made it suitable to use as a background for the flowers since it wasn't worth making into a card in its own right. I think I had used tumbled glass, spun sugar and a green?? Obviously whatever liquid is in the baby wipes is enough to ensure a very oxidised effect. I stencilled the basketweave into the centre with white paint and arranged the flowers and leaves on top, decorating with some sequins and gold Stickles. The sentiment is cut from pearlescent gold card.
And, hmmm, it looks as if it's lost one small flower, I'm sure there were two. I'll try and take a better photo tomorrow, it was a pretty full-on busy weekend.

Love these soft colors. This turned out so well especially on the leaves and flowers.
