My friend here in Carolina had been transferred to Tokyo with her husband for five years. She brought back a lot of rice paper and no longer wanted it so she gave it to me! Lucky me!

Oh wow, Kathy, that paper is gorgeous! Lucky you indeed. We often used to go to the Japanese Cultural Centre in Paris, partly to see if they had any exhibitions because often they had interesting ones, but equally to buy some of the papers. Your image is pretty spectacular too.
