What a lovely pinterest board to look at today for the IC - Happy Wall!
I was looking in the flower section as I have tons of flower dies and stamps from Altenew that I've purchased and never used - but then I came upon this Floral Happy Wall: https://i.pinimg.com/564x/a3/5b/fb/a...3f66d7ccb2.jpg and it made me think of the Alluring Blooms Paper Pad I have from Altenew. It is a thicker paper with a slight gloss to it and I haven't used it much but it was perfect for the inspiration!
I simply cut a piece using the largest Nordic Frame die from the Greetery - the open dots on the frame add a nice subtle interest to the edge. Then I added a die cut hello to the corner.
I ended up making 8 cards using several different pieces from the paper pad.
I'm leaving them blank inside and sending them to my older cousin who is quarantined in an assisted living/nursing home in NH.
She is a bit confused and her children cannot visit. I send her cards and she responded recently with a note to me on white lined paper - she had lost her pen so used a pencil and she didn't have an envelope so she 'borrowed' one from a 'girl' down the hall.
I'll send her the note cards with envelopes, stamps, a pen and address labels for me, her daughter, her sister and her sister-in-law so it will hopefully be easier for her to write to people when she wants to!

That paper is gorgeous and I love the card you made...I'm sure your cousin will love getting these. It's so hard not being able to visit loved ones and probably harder on the ones in the nursing homes.
Oh, I love the pin that inspired you! I really need to do the same. Just make some designer paper cards! I have so much DP. What a wonderfully sweet idea to send her all the things she needs to mail off a card to the family. Such a super sad time for families who can't see their loved ones. Hugs!

Julia, this is a lovely and thoughtful gift for your cousin. I am sure she will love them and enjoy sending them to her family. Love the paper and the detailed edge the die gives it.
