This card is for the Colour Challenge, to use - Terracotta Tile, So Saffron, Tranquil Tide & Berry Burst.
No dessert for me this week. I married the SU colours up with corresponding colours in my H2O's.
The card is also for the Teapot challenge, hosted by
Jen / jennifrann who said "My challenge today is to use pens or a pen image on your cards today."
This has been inspired by our teapotter recipient for this week, a pen pal of Sabrina's.
Last week I watched a vidio on YouTube that I found fascinating, found here;
It was easy but also like meditation, it was a wonderful hour ...not counting drying time.
I first did a rough map of where I wanted to put what colours on a piece of scrap paper and on another piece of scrap paper I did a rough sketch of where the doodles would go.
Next I cut my watercolour paper to size and lightly sprayed it with water, I had already added water with a pipette to my H2O's. I lifted some of each of the colours out of their pots with the larger mop brush onto my tile them put blobs of colour onto the wet watercolour paper adding and moving the colour around until I was happy. I set it aside to dry naturally.
Once dry I did the doodles with a #1 Copic Multi Liner then built on the doodles with # 3 & 5 liners.
I then added the Nuvo drops and left the card to dry overnight.
This morning I put the card together including creating a strip of watercolour wash for the inside of the card and put all the layers together. I really enjoyed doing this card and will be posting it to Sabrina's pen pal this afternoon.
Thanks for looking cheers Marg

A pipette - now, that's a brilliant idea. I usually use my spray bottle when I can't find the one with a little spout that's meant for watering plants. I will bookmark the video and try to find time some time to watch it, because it obviously is inspiring. And I can imagine the lovely shimmer and sparkle from the Twinks. This is beautiful, and certainly conveys peace and tranquility. I like the way you cut and edged the sentiment. I know Barb will love each and every card, but I'm sure she will get an extra thrill to see some coming from Down Under.

Love this card! Thank you for sharing the video, the lady really described well the blocks we can have with the creative process and she outlined a great guide to getting that creative flow running again. Loved it!
