I watched a mixed media scrap video mentioned by Nancy Williams and Jayne, and have joined their mixed media challenge! Gabrielle Pollacco does fabulous work! I distressed the top DSP and layered it on a second, after cutting the center out, so I could use it for the hear. I also found a heart shaped doily in my stash. I applied gesso through a doily stencil. I watercolored some spots on the top layer, and did some text stamping.
I had some stickers that came with this Bo Bunny DSP, so put on chipboard and put on my layout. I distressed the doily and the chip board. The letters also come with the Bo Bunny. These were in a ziplock bag I was given on NSD at a now defunct Scrapbook store over 15 years ago!
About time I used this! The flourishes are chipboard from my stash. I really had fun doing this. I will submit it for the June Stash Buster: I used 3 dsps, circles, and stamping. It is titled Larry & Sharon , so it is for the Alpha Double Challenge this week!
Thanks for the inspiration, Cheryl, Nancy, Jayne, and Ann!
Thanks for looking.

I am soooo impressed you used the video inspiration for a scrapbook page. Such fun details and treasures. Super cool. What makes it even better is used such fun pictures on the page as well - it all works together so well. 53 years together - that is so great and you look soooo beautiful! Well done page, Sharon. Bunches of hugz!

This is fantastic Sharon and such a beautiful momento of you and your DH's 53 years together. You look far too young to be married for 53 years my friend! I am really taken with all the sponging and stenciling you did that highlight your polka dots so beautifully! The heart-shaped doily is fabulous with your filmstrip pics! ~Karen.
