This week Angie has a wonderful video by Lydia. She watercolors and adds an unexpected color. Taking one of my all time favorite old stamps and water colored with the glazing method and distress inks. Added the blue as the unexpected color. Sponged the frame with the vintage photo and marina mist. Come join the challenge. YOu can find the challenge here: WCW003 - 6/17/20 - Using Unexpected Color by ohmypaper! at Splitcoaststampers

Beautifully done. The frame looks like a leather bound frame and the blue doesn't seem unrealistic at all. It looks like it belongs perfectly.

So pretty, Linda. Not sure what I love the most - your framing with your special distressing (you know how I love some distressing) or your fabulous use of color on the horse. WONDERFUL card - amazes me and makes me want to skip work today and make a frame. LOL - but true. Hugz

That stitched frame really makes this look like a portrait of someones prized Stallion! It's totally gorgeous with the blue shading around the mane and head. It's really nice that you continued some of those colors on to the frame as well! GORGEOUS!

You are quick to already get this posted! It looks like something you would hang on a wall, with the pretty framing. The blue tends to make the horse look softer doesn't it? Very nice.
