Congrats to Patty, the newest Featured Stamper (FS696)! She has a beautiful gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS card to case. I love the poppies in the circular window so I kept that. But I used different images & dies, sponged my circular opening & moved the greeting.
For my card, I used 2 different watercolor poppy images. These are 2 part images..the outline & the solid inside. I put the solid images into my Misti & stamped them several times using yellow, rose & dk red inks from the Color Fuse collections. Then the outlines were stamped on top & they were die cut. The white panel has a linen texture & after die cutting the circle, I sponged it & put it back. I arranged the poppies where I wanted them, attaching them to the stitched circle frame, trimming off the lower sections, then attached it over the circular bg. A few clear sequins & a greeting banner were added to finish.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ closeups & product links: The Write Stuff

Wow! What a gorgeous card this is Julie and a fabulous case of Patty's lovely inspiration card. This profusion of poppys look so happy on your card and they sure do pop off the card with the gorgeous sponging you did to highlight them. The texture of the card panel is fabulous and gives this a bit of an organic touch that I love. ~Karen.
