Congratulations Chrysi (Knoxville8625) on becoming our newest featured stamper. Here is the adorable Teddy Bear card that inspired me. WT790 May Flowers
I used a cute teddy bear image, mine is holding flowers instead of an umbrella. I changed up the background to flowers instead of raindrops. I used a similar layout. Enjoy your time in the spotlight, Chrysi....
I made the background paper in 2007 - can you believe that... It has been in my stash for 13 years...
At the time I was creating a tapestry background - using the tapestry technique. With this background - I had not clear embossed the whole panel... I sponged on bashful blue, groovy guava and apricot appeal and then stamped the flower images using whisper white.
Teddy bear image was stamped with memento black ink and then coloured with copic markers. Added stickles to the center of the flowers
Sentiment was stamped with memento black ink. I cut it up so it would work for the image...
This work for the Free 4 All challenge - F4A536 - sparkle, shimmer or shine.
Hugs..Pat

What a truly charming and adorable birthday card this is Pat! I am floored you made this gorgeous background back in 2007. Thankfully, you kept it and it works perfectly on this fabulous card. Love this adorable image panel and the great colors you used too. We both used orange today- how fun! Take care Pat. ~Karen.
Pat, I'm laughing at the fact you have had this in your stash for so long. I can't find anything in my stuff from last week. LOL! This is a beautiful card and the background layer is so perfect for your image.

The white flower stamping over your pretty background makes for a lovely look. Your little bear image is color coordinated so beautifully with the background. Sweet card!
