This is for today's Colour Challenge - Blueberry Bushel, Lovely Lipstick & Balmy Blue. I really enjoyed working with these colours, despite the fact I had none of the above! I substituted with Pacific Blue, Strawberry Slush & Bashful Blue. I did opt for dessert with the glittery enamel dot.
I decided to make a CAS design. Put the scene together with the combination of dp for the sky and grass and stamped the ocean. Added the die cut umbrella, with the glittery enamel dot at the top, and chair. Thought this little vintage girl was meant to be adjusting the umbrella (thanks, Polly) and you may have noticed the pile of books resting on the arm of the chair. These I downloaded from the internet and fussy cut.
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to be a guest designer for the month of May, ladies~

Great looking beach scene, Sue! I love how bold your colors look and the framing is so pretty with the rounded corners. You are correct, the vintage girl looks perfect opening the umbrella~

Wonderful seaside scene, Sue. I like the books stacked on the chair's arm....great place to read in the shade of the umbrella. The little vintage girl is darling. A fun and cheery card.
