Today's letters for the Alphabet Challenge are G and A. As it is that time of year, my G is represented by graduation. The A is harder to spot. I did a recent tutorial here on SCS for Adhesive Resist. You can find it here: Adhesive Resist Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I didn't have the adhesive used in the tutorial so I substituted. My substitute dried tacky so after I inked the panel, I coated it with clear embossing powder and heated that to eliminate the tack.
I used a stencil from Stampin' Up along with adhesive to create my background panel. After letting it dry, I ink blended three colors of distress ink onto the panel.
I stamped my yellow balloon and added graduation to it. Then stamped the other two balloons, die cut all three, and added baker's twine. Wink of Stella was applied to the two Night of Navy balloons. The balloons are popped up with foam tape.
A semi quick graduation card in the graduate's high school colors.
Thanks for the challenge, Ann, and thanks for looking!

Super cool graduation card Catherine! I love these colors and the wonderful celebratory feel of it. I am really impressed with this background you created and how that highlights your balloons so nicely. ~Karen.
