This card is my entry for the letter E for Alphabet Challenge, as well as this week's color challenge and sketch challenge.
My letter E is represented by the main image technique of an embedded image as well as embossing (both heat and dry), and eyelets just for fun.
I used this week's colors which just spoke to me of a western sunset sky. First I created the embedded focal image - which was designed by Dina - following this wonderful tutorial found right here on SCS: Embedded Image Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I then created my "bandanna" background using stamps from True Friend. I stamped them with Poppy Parade ink onto Poppy Parade cs and then added details to make it look like a bandanna. I thought there was a tutorial for this right here on SCS but I couldn't find it. If you know where it is, let me know and I'll add it here.
I embossed the small background panel with the woodgrain embossing folder and then added three eyelets. I did add a frame to the focal image so it would stand out better from the bandanna background.
I grew up in a rodeo town so this card was quite fun to make and I'm happy with how it turned out.
Thanks for looking!

P.s. the Faux bandanna is in the TLC forum...I haven't updated the master challenge list since the site issues started in January as editing posts is so problematic and time-consuming, but as it's an older challenge, it's definitely already listed.
Very impressive embedded image!

Your silhouette looks so good against that beautiful rich BG and I love how you angled your paper and used eyelets. Awesome card Catherine. TFS Happy day and hugs

What a glorious cowboy card this is Catherine. I am not sure what I love more- your bandanna background or this glittery cowboy silhouette image; however, it is the two together that make your card so glorious. Thank you for sharing the tutorial on how you did this too- I always appreciate that you do this. ~Karen.

I love the RED/black combo - so striking. Love the image and all the "E"'s.
