Jen is our hostess for the Teapot Tuesday challenge, which this week is a coffee party - read why HERE.
I never thought I'd use this sentiment from Inspired by Nature, but it was perfect on this card. For the ink blending Jen requested, I embossed the paisley background and then sponged and blended 3 regular distress inks. Cut the square and added it to the card base. I stamped my cappuccino garden (mine is actually the smaller photopolymer version which comes in a set with another coffee stamp and a couple of sentiments) on white card, embossed it, then coloured with pencils. I sponged the foreground and around the edge of the sky part. I was going to leave the foam just plain white, but in the end I added liquid pearls and a dusting of Pixie Powder. It's matted onto a piece of card sponged with wilted violet, so that it matched. I happened to have a butterfly in my stash that was a good match too - probably Inktense pencils on watercolour paper. I used wire for the antennae. The main image panel is popped up on foam.

Gorgeous, Sabrina! You had the perfect image and the perfect sentiment! Glad you finally got to use it :0)
I LOVE the foam on the coffee cups and that fabulous butterfly is the perfect embellishment. I would never think to add wire to my butterfly.

Wow Sabrina, this is quite the card. Your background is really stunning and draws your eye right to this super fun image of coffee cups growing in a field of flowers- I love this! I like the froth you added to the coffee too! This gorgeous butterfly and wonderful sentiment are the perfect finishing touches on this card. I know Pixie will be thrilled with this stunning card you made for her Sabrina. ~Karen.
