I started with a white 5.5 " square card base onto which I layered a 5.25" square layer of black cardstock. Next layer is a 5" square, black and white printed paper (from my misc stash), which I brushed the edges with black ink.
Next I found a piece in my stash again of black cardstock, stamped and embossed with gold EP in an Aztec pattern. I attached this to the left hand side leaving a thin border of the printed paper showing on the left side.
Next I created a piece by using black cs with a layer of printed paper layered onto it, and added a strip of black cs laced with gold ribbon. This was attached on the right hand side, leaving a small margin of the original layer showing on the far right.
Finally I stamped the image of the girl in bla0ck versafine onto white cs, and layered black diecut frame (from my stash) over her, and then layered the whole piece on with foam tape to give it a lift.
And lastly I added 2 red and a white paper rose to the gold laced strip.
