I made this for the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge & since itâs Mar 1, time for the Splitcoast Fan Club March Christmas Challenge! A big congrats to Maura, the newest FS! She has a really wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept most of the layout & winter theme, but used different images, different dies & different colors.
For my green & gold Christmas card, I pulled out a green & gold alcohol ink background & stamped the Star Flower bg image w/ gold ink & gold embossed it. After die cutting it, I used part of a border die to cut the lower part into two sections. I embossed the greeting using a topiary tapestry embossing powder on the brushed gold layer then attached the green layers on top. Three sizes of brushed gold circles were die cut & I used the same topiary powder to emboss parts of the star flower onto them & popped them up on top.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ closeups & product links: The Write Stuff

I love how you went green with your snowflake design! It covers spring and St. Patty.s Day beautifully, and Christmas! Great spinoff from my card, thanks so much!! Hugs, Maura
