Jean is our guest hostess this week and has challenged us to use kintsugi on our cards. It is the time of the month where we get to send our cards to each other.
I stamped the pottery vases, coloured with coloured pencils and fussy cut. I then cut 2 of the vases & pasted back together, using the gold metallic pen in the cracks. I raised the vases, using dimensionals, onto the terracotta 'shelf'. I used reinkers & water on glossy c/s for the bg.
Since uploading this card I have added gold liquid pearls into the cracks of the pots - looks much better! May not get a chance to take another photo but, at least, it will look better for the recipient!
TFL!
EDIT: Re photographed card after adding the gold liquid pearls!

You have done an awesome job on the Southwestern colors - in fact, I 've seen houses in south EL Paso with just those colors gracing the outer walls. ( That area of the city is a total fiesta of color!) Fantastic coloring on the pots.

Gorgeous rich, warm colours. Beautiful pots. I am imaging the Liquid Pearls, probably more like all the glued-together dishes our parents had, only so much prettier.
