Alphabet Challenge Letter R: Real Red, removable tag
My card is going to a friend who is a devoted fan of the Dodgers Baseball team. I used the two Dodger blue colors with accents of red.
The tag is removable. It could be a bookmarker, gift tag, reveal a secret message, or have a little gift money hidden behind it. Fun!
I created the baseball by punching a 2.5 inch circle; and then using the circle opening as a template, I drew two curved lines in gray. With a red marker, I drew little V stitches, making sure the stitches go the opposite way.
I adjusted the sketch a little by placing the strip 4 on top. It was fun to use a fussy cut, stamped baseball bat and I didn't want to hide it. The knob is popped up to allow the tag to slide in and out.
Thanks for a really great sketch, Allison! TFL

This is a really cute card for a Dodger fan, Diane. You pulled out all the punches and got the colors right on the money. So fun to have a removable tag to use elsewhere~

So creative and great for a tee ball or baseball fan. Our eldest boy used to play tee ball and I made a scrapbook page with a ball just like yours. Your card is awesome Diane. I particularly love the tag and the wool twine you used. TFS. Happy day
