Lisa is our hostess for the Teapot Tuesday challenge this week - you can find it HERE and learn why we are making bright and colourful cards for RaiLynn.
When I saw Lisa's teapot I knew that I wanted to use a rainbow, and I thought I'd go back to an idea I used HERE.
This time I stamped the background with small quatrefoil on watercolour paper, so that I could use Brushos and let them bleed. This took quite a while, as I had to mist each patch, add the colour and then let it dry and shake off any extra powder before moving on to the next colour. I used the same powders to colour each arc of the rainbow.
The little paint palette is one of the first stamps I ever bought, when we were delivering supplies to a customer at a show. I stamped it on watercolour paper, embossed it, coloured with distress inks and then used Stickles for all the colours. It's popped up on foam. I stamped and embossed the sentiment (inside says "and rainbows", stamped with a spectrum pad, and matted it onto purple glitter card.

This is such a cool card Sabrina and so perfect for a teenager too! Your rainbow looks amazing, especially with the brusho background you did and quatrefoil stamping. The little artists palette is such a great finishing touch here. I can almost hear Bob Ross Say, "let's add a happy little..." when I am looking at this fun card. I know RaiLynn with be thrilled with this Sabrina. ~Karen.
