Facing a bit of a challenge today so I wanted to do some BAJ before I head out for the day. Be saying a little prayer for me if you have time.
Love the colors in the color challenge today. Green is my favorite color - I love granny green especially (since I am a granny and I love granny smith apples). I claim coastal cabana as a green even though it is blue too.
Due to the bit of challenge I am facing Psalm 23 is perfect - I need God to be sheltering and providing for me today (and every day). I wrote all the words from the psalm in her hair and face. I love doing that.
Covered my Bible page in Art Basics Gesso, laid down the Dina Wakley collage paper. No time to make sure wrinkles were out (I have them so she can too - lol), so immediately watercolored using neutrals and today's colors (you can see a touch of them all over her face - don't we all have a bit of coastal cabana and terra cotta tile in our facial shadows?).
So this is young Nancy before all the wrinkles, gray hairs, and other assorted fun things that come with aging. She has light brown hair with terra cotta highlights (that was before I had to start paying $150 a trip for highlights).
I promise to stop by and comment after work.
Many hugz and thanks for dropping by!
Update - the prayers worked - it was a good day! Hugz

Wow, Nancy- this is so powerful and creative! Love the image that you used as well as how you wrote the words from the Psalm throughout the her hair and face. Hugs and thankful that you had answered prayer!
