Anita aka Snietje is hosting this weeks special teaparty for Dorothy aka etsdas. Our challenge is to use 3 things. I took my inspiration from the fun RV teapot...this is what we see when we go traveling in our RV.
I have chosen die cuts, stencils and digi image. The background is from my stash, I used it for the background and also to diecut the 2 trees.
This sweet little koala is part of a beautiful "Love for Australia Set" by Crissy Armstrong at Whimsy Stamps. This digi set is US$10, with all proceeds going to the Emergency Fund for Wildlife to help all the animals suffering after the bush fires. This is so generous of Whimsy Stamps, especially as US$10 is almost $15 here in Australia.
Accessories: Prismacolour pencils, alcohol inks, Stazon ink (for stenciling), Poppy Stamps tree die, Ai Branch die (with the bird chopped off), Paper Roses leaf stencil
Techniques: Die cuts, stenciling, fussy cutting (Koala)

Oh, Susie, when I saw your card, the first thing that came to mind are the awesome Australian Koalas that lost their lives due to the horrible fires. You certainly gave this beautiful one a safe place to hide. He/she is so beautiful hanging their in the awesome forest. The background you created is beautiful, Susie! I love this as I do all of you artwork! Hugs!

I bought this set as soon as I saw it! Those Crissy Armstrong animals are too cute! Love your cute koala in his forest habitat. I don't think this is a scene I will ever see from an RV. Unless, maybe I should come out for tea and a visit...

A very cute card. I love the little koala bear in the tree. Koala’s are so cute. What a joy it must be to see them when you are off in your RV. Happy to hear you are getting rain.

That Koala is sooo adorable! I checked out your link, and ordered that set right away (plus a couple more images...couldn't resist!)! Your card is wonderful, love all the colors and textures you have going on. Great background!

Beautiful coloring of that sweet koala, Susie! Your bg is amazing. The devastation from the fires is heartbreaking and touches so many to help. Kudos to Whimsy stamps.
