It's time for a new Color Challenge and Mary is hosting this week. She chose the lovely combination of Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Mint Macron, with a dessert option of winter. I really intended to create a winter scene but a new stamp set landed and it was all I could think about (imagine that, a floral LOL!). It IS a Winter Anemone, so I do think I made the dessert option...kind of...sort of...
I'm also using joining the current SCS Sketch Challenge, although I flipped the heart/sentiment to the upper left rather than lower right in order to accommodate my floral image.
The flowers were colored with Copic markers similar to the challenge colors, then die cut with matching dies. Mounted on a white panel die cut with a scallop rectangle die, sentiment added and adhered to the base with thin foam squares.
The base was stamped in Versamark with a floral background stamp for a subtle tone on tone look.
Thanks for looking and I hope you'll join the Color Challenge this week!

Wow, I'm in love with these Amazing blooms, Stef! Colored so smoothly and delicately soft looking. You have outdone yourself. Can you tell that I love this creation? (smiling)
