Hello there, and thank you for visiting my gallery! My name is Denise, and I am a Midwestern girl, copy editor, Jazzercise instructor, and a cardmaker on the side!
I have made it my mission in 2020 to look through my scrap drawer before beginning a new card. I am hoping to use what is in my stash (aren't we all? ;P), AND spark my creativity in new ways. Sometimes by having a starting point, I can find new color combinations, designs, and even techniques!
The piece that inspired this card was the floral cluster that I had stamped over a year ago. I also had many leftover watercolor pieces in my stash, so I decided to make a really simple watercolored background for the floral die cut. After I stacked several die cuts behind the floral one for dimension, I simply added a die cut sentiment and sub-sentiment below it (white heat-embossed). I mounted the blue piece on a piece of white cardstock and added that to a peach card base.
Hope this card inspires you, and feel free to ask if you have any questions! Have a great day!
