For Lydia's Go Towards the White MIXed media challenge.
She asks us to create a colourful mixed media background and then add a white focal point. I rummaged through my box and found this failed mulberry batik (on a coffee filter) - whatever stamp I used was too detailed, but I had loved the colours. So I used a Plaid stencil today and added gold paint over it (although I think I already had two mediums with Brusho powders and some acrylic shimmer spray) and cut it down. Stamped a flower block image from SNSS for my focal point, adding Stickles to the centre. I tucked a Fanciful Flourish cut from gold holographic card under it, and added a die-cut Hello - it fits in with the scrolling flourish .
