I have fallen in love with these tea lighted trees. I have made over 300 of them.. then all of a sudden - after seeing this challenge I thought I would try the vellum... they are way more delicate to handle.
I tried several ways in the folding and embossing, and settled on this one... when you emboss vellum and then try to fold the crease lines, it cracks a little. So - cut the die, fold the crease lines ever so gently-- just folding softly.. then run it through an embossing folder and the fold lines seem not to crack as much... I really Love the soft, frosty look.
I cut strips of kraft paper, swished brown ink pad across them and covered the tea light edges, then it looks like a wood base.
SO much fun to make.. hope you like them..
Hope your Christmas has been wonderous!
