This was a hard card for me to make since i never restrict myself to two main colors. Plus, red and green are usually difficult for me to use...i don't know why. However, I am happy with the result which is the idea behind these challenges. They get us out of our comfort zones and get us to try new things.
I also posted this for the CT1119 theme of playlists. This time of year i actually like the never-ending stream of holiday songs playing everywhere we go. This is for the song Santa Clause is coming to town" with a Southern California vibe. I hope you join us for this week's F4A challenge.

Delightful card for the red & green challenge! You conquered the issue of red & green not-feeling-right-together by using bright lime green and pairing it with several shades of red, going from pink toned polka dots to deep burgundy. Just WOW!!! Love so many things about this card - it is going into my Favs to study later for inspiration. TFS!

Fab background, sweet spray of foliage and ribbon in the corner. One of your trademarks - the very first card I got from you is looking a little faded now, I think, but is still on my desk in front of me, and it has a twine bow and punched foliage in the corner. Even in the background there's so much to look at, love the crisp crunchy look of the foreground like a heavy frost, and the water-spattered background. Santa's bag of sunflower seeds made me smile, he must be looking after the birds.

Francie, I was just thinking the same thing about how wonderful it is to hear Christmas songs all the time. (We were driving home from a party tonight, so we had the radio on). Then I checked on SCS and read your kind comment to me and then came here and read your post to find out you love them too. Love the lime green and red and your watered background! Course Santa did it with his watercan! Wonderful whimsical papers!
