WOW, Julie! What an out of the box IC this week! Luv, luv MacKenzie-Childs. I probably, secretly wish I could be so bold and over the top. Of course I headed straight for the furniture section to be inspired. I only had to spy legs and shoes to know just what I'd do!
Those legs reminded me of my Dolly Mama stamps...Girlfriend and Big Girl Panties and others in my gallery. I could definitely do a LEG table!
The legs were stamped, embossed, colored and fussy cut. My table top is altered from a Stamp Francisco image. The side apron was checked black and white as that is a motif McK-C's uses frequently. I decided the sentiment {Feed Your Soul} fit the philosophy of the company. Here's a 2 minute YouTube video you will enjoy and it is sure to encourage YOUR art!
Basic Grey's 'Lemonade' paper group provided the boldest papers to build my room. I used an Anna Griffin fancy floral EF on top of those bold cabbage roses for the wallpaper. That's what McK-C does...layers upon layers. A couple of Washi tapes for the baseboard and of course a cuppa love waiting on the table.
If you've stuck with me, thank you! I hope this IC sparked a similar flame in you today. And I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Filled with whimsy, class beauty and delightful details. I could ooh and ahh over this for hours. Another onerI would love to see in the flesh. Please know it's alway appropriate for show and tell whenever we meet.

Totally fun mix of patterns, Susan! I watched the video too. How delightful. I loved seeing it, so thank you for including the link. Also reminds me of Mary Englebreit. Love their checks! And I see you have provided some along the edge of the table. Your cabbage rose paper is perfect!
