Kelly is our hostess this month for the Tickle a Teapotter challenge, Happy Fall, Y'All, which you can find HERE.
I chose to be inspired by her second teapot, with the black cat. Autumn here is not always a colourful season - this year it's quite good, but often it's just drab browns. I do remember how much I enjoyed crunching through the leaves in the ditches beside the road as we walked to school when we were little, and the velvety feel of the inside of the beech nuts.
I stamped Midnight on light watercolour paper and coloured with Inktense pencils, and a Sakura stardust for sparkle on the green.
Cut the card front with the Sizzix Window Box ef, and backed it with some suitably autumnal Basic Grey paper. The window box itself is actually from an IO window set. The foliage came with the Sizzix folder, and the flowers are punched from card sponged with DOX inks, with Stickles for the centres. I added a grass border.
To fill the space at the top I stamped a sentiment on a banner and sponged the edges.

LOL...here I was thinking what a cool retro wall paper in this house...
Again I learned something. I just never think about die cutting through an EF...I was thinking this was some super fancy die now that they have the combo EF/die cuts.
