This is my sample for CC763. Jeanne is our hostess and she has chosen blueberry bushel, lovely lipstick and coastal cabana for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is to make it nautical. Well, since I live in Western PA, and we are expecting high temps of 45 degrees later this week and nighttime lows around 32 degrees, I am thinking snow (LOL)!!
So, I decided to go with a Christmas card. I used the new Holiday Hedgehog die from CottageCutz. His scarf and hat are cut in two of the challenge colors. For the circle background I sponged clouds with a cloud stencil using cracked pistachio distress ink. Its a good match for coastal cabana.
The background papers are from the Stampin'-Up "let it snow" collection. Where the 2 panels are joined, I used lovely lipstick ribbon. My sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn winter scripty sayings set and I stamped it in blueberry bushel.
Finished off my card by adding a few snowflakes. I used wink of stella to add a bit of sparkle but it doesn't show well in my photo.
Thats my card for this week. I hope you have some time to play along. The other DT members are providing lots of great inspiration to spark your mojo.
