These two cards are for this week's Alphabet challenge, along with the sketch and color challenges. This week's letter is G. My G's are ghost stamping and grateful in the sentiment.
I made two cards using different background stamps for the ghost stamping effect. I'm sorry that they don't show up better in the photo. Here is a link to the SCS tutorial: Ghost Stamping Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers The card on the right uses the plaid background stamp. After I made it, I decided the plaid pattern was bigger than I wanted to use for the ghost stamping effect so I tried a second card using the script background.
I created the background with various leaves from Botanical Blooms and then sponged Daffodil Delight around the leaves. I stamped and die cut lots of leaves for the border. I embossed the Early Espresso behind the leaves but you really can't see much of it. I heat embossed the sentiment and then had fun arranging leaves.
Wonderful sketch and color challenges.
Thanks for looking!

I love leaves on cards, and your color combo is a great one.

Both cards are beautiful Catherine. I love this ghost technique you used on the background. Your stamping, embossing and die cutting makes for a gorgeous pair of fall cards my friend! ~Karen.
