I'll have to give you a hand, Toni, for today's Ways to Use It challenge! You inspired me to use tracings of boy hands. I've got two to start...and does it everah
measure how time flies!
I have a file folder of my sons' hands through the years...to say I am tender hearted seeing them is an understatement. But now I have a scrapbook page...and one day...hopefully, will be their childrens' hands overlaying theirs.
The dp is from a long retired Cosmo Cricket paper group 'Get Happy'. I used the striped paper to cut out repeating layers of color for &d's 16 year old hand. I used acetate for his 2 year old hand stamping his name on the fingers and laid it over the larger hand. OH BOY! strip is also from the 'Get Happy' paper.
Over it all, the pocket watch with wings tells the story, really for all of us...TIME flies and we better cherish each moment! Thanks so much for stopping by...I'd love to hear what moment you've captured recently with your loved ones.

Love your fabulous striped hand, Susan. So true time flies - my little Grandson, William is already 1 month old and growing so much! This is a wonderful card!

Oh, what a touching (pun not necessarily intended) story and beautiful tribute to your family, with hopes and dreams realized and wished for. Most special.

How inspiring to me! I love this idea- we just had our first Grandson, so think this will be something cool to do over the years! Love the acetate with the name on the fingers- and the clock with wings. You are not kidding- time flies!!!

This is fantastic. I have given my hubby a card every father's day with my son's hands as they have grown over the years. He has kept every card and looks at them a lot.
