Pat is hosting a very special teaparty this week for JoEllyn. JoEllyn is on the waiting list for a kidney transplant and she is a church friend of our very own Teapotter Jan, aka Precious Kitty.
I was stressing because I couldn't remember the brand of the border die (I don't keep packaging), then I said to myself, self if they can't bother to mark their products with a brand, why should I!!!
The cups and flowers were printed on copy paper, coloured with Prismacolour pencils, Zest it pencil blend and highlighted with Copics and a touch of Jane Davenport liquid ink.
I die cut the front and the back of the card, because I wasn't too sure how this would work out I made a sample first and I'm happy to say I ended up with two cards.
Thank you for looking and I hope you get a chance to join in....and perhaps have a conversation with loved ones about organ donation.

What a wonderfully delightful stack of cups, Susie! Your coloring is stupendous! The roses are so pretty! I'm sure this will brighten JoEllyn's day! Good reminder about organ donation, also!

Wow, my friend! These cards are stunning, and your coloring of the images is marvelous. I love the stack of beautiful teacups with the awesome roses at the top. The die-cut edge is wonderful and adds volumes to the beauty of the cards. I love the cards, Susie! You artwork is always remarkable! Hugs!

Two beautiful cards....in every way, Susie. I love those teapots. I am thinking they may be Crafter's Companion die cuts. Sure look like some I have from them, but with a different border.

Oh, I so hear you about names on dies, Sizzix do it so why can't others. And stencils...when I put all mine in a display book I tried to write the names beside them, but even with my Google Doc record I had trouble figuring some out.
Sheesh, Susie, I wouldn't be able to take a guess as to which of these was your first trial run. I like the front one better, but that's just because I prefer pink roses to purple. Your colouring is amazing, they look so dimensional. And the cups really look stacked up, with your great shading.

Oh Miss Susie I can't tell if I like the pink one or the purple one better. I know what you mean about not saving packaging and not having names on dies I tried to keep mine together but no guarantees that they're all right so I don't even list them anymore.

Beautiful image and coloring, Susie! I do like that unknown brand of border die--goes perfectly with the teacup and flowers! Speaking of organ donation, my sister-in-law is getting a free organ from the neighbors who are moving. My brother thought he was so funny when he told me his neighbors were organ donors. I thought so too. LOL!
