This is another card for my friend whose cat just passed because another friend asked me to make one for her to give. For Sabrina's challenge today I took out a leftover background from Polly's MIX challenge last week with my diy texture paste and sponged Tea Dye and Rusty Hinge on it. Then I cut out the cat, leaves and banner. I sponged fall colors on the leaves, stamped them with crackle texture and embossed them. I sponged color onto the banner while it was still in the die and found a small sympathy stamp that would fit it. I'm really happy with the way this came out even though it is not a Jen card. I think Liz will really like it.
Accessories: Spellbinders Card Creator A and B dies and leaf die, Verve Sprightly Sprigs die, Momenta leaf and banner dies, Brother ScanNCut, Dylusions stencil, diy texture paste, clear EP
Beautiful pet sympathy card. I love your textured background and the colors you chose. I also love how you "layered" your sentiment not only by sponging the center, but by adding faux stitching to the edge.

WOW...a stunning pet sympathy card with your little silhouetted kitty! Your background results are fabulous for in those warm fall colors. Love the crackled-stamped leaves and their sheen with the heat embossing. Your die-sponged sentiment looks perfect and ties everything together! Got to put this in my FAVs for sure!
