This is for Lydia's first DTGD challenge. The card that inspired mine is this one.
I think this is the only the first time I have played around with the DTGD Challenges. I'm just choosing those that call me to the craft room!
For this card, I fussy cut around the bottom portion of the image and left the top as part of the bg. I love the look of the gold embossing powder and the gold sentiment. I've been trying to work on watercoloring lately; Distress inks are a lot easier to control than my watercolor paints!! Coming back in with colored pencils helps add some dimension after the paper is dry.
