Julie, you selected a wonderful site this week with Wool & Honey, but I had to put blinders on as not to get lost among their gorgeous yarn. I love to knit...see, I've gone down the rabbit hole!
In order to stay focused, I headed for the enamel pins for my inspiration. And it was this Astronomer's Motto Pin that captured my imagination.
My man in the moon is an unlabeled silicone image. I stamped him onto a scrap from a recent project. I managed to get him placed so the punched stars were in the halo. I used bleach to remove the color of his present. Little Luna (RubberMoon) was inked with Brilliance MoonLight and embossed with SeaFoam White.
My background has so many layers of ink on it. I just kept building it, wiping, rubbing, and splattering the Kuretake 'Starry Colors' until I was happy. I added the Club Scrap 'Star Trio' in three places along the panel. You'll have to look closely to see them, but they are so very pretty.
The cute Inkadinkadoo 'Kids' Quote' stamp You are my nightlight was embossed with super find gold and cut apart. Back to the man in the moon, I popped his right side up on a double layer of thick foam and then glue the starry side straight to the base. I like the subtle difference it made.
Again some random staples and a base of 'Smokey Grey' PTI. Thanks so much for your comments.
I can't wait to see what inspired all the IC'ers today.
