Denise is our guest hostess this month for Tickle a Teapotter - you can find her challenge HERE.
I knew I had a blackberry stamp, but even after two goes of colouring it, I wasn't too happy with it. Luckily I remembered that I used have some strawberry images in my RAK box, and this seems to be the only one left. I added Liquid Pearl dots to the strawberries, and coloured my bird in strawberry-ish colours. If I had Susie's imagination (and hadn't just had to go and collect DH, because a lightning strike on the track means there are no trains running) I'd tell you all about the strawberry bird .
The base is Galeria modelling paste over a stencil, sprinkle with Brushos, spritz with water and blot lightly before removing and washing the stencil. For economies sake I cut the square out of the centre and inserted my strawberry image, and then the popped-up frame - so I still have a nice piece left to use.

Wowza amazing BG and the colors of the brushos match your image perfectly. It has been a very long time since I colored blackberries on an image, I might need to challenge myself to color them again as I agree they are tough. Some teapotter is really going to love all the amazing work in this beauty.

Wow! Fantastic work! I remember the birds LOVED to eat the strawberries from the plants we had - so I think mom put a netting over the berries. I will have to try one of the techniques!

I love how perfectly coordinated all of your colors are. That brusho stenciled background is fabulous and the bird is so cute! Yes, strawberries are so much more pleasant to color than blackberries...

I love you are economical...I do that too. Your card is just fabulous, I love how you wrapped the color through all three of your elements. That bird is delightful. Along with the molding paste bg and those liquid pearls dots in the corners...luv!!!
