I love snails. Not because I'm slow, but because I think they're fascinating and beautiful. This past week's teapot party is 'choose your animal', and I choose snails. I haven't ever seen one in real life, except at the lake 'up north' and that was just the shells. They are shy. I think I like the shape. I do collect snails, especially vintage ones or maybe some yard art. I even Zentangled a snail a while ago.
So I hoped I would find a snail in today's IC. Nope. But I loved all those baby animals with blue skies, flowers or bubble gum. So I used those pictures as inspiration. My baby snails are going on a trip, as I am, 'up north' as we Wisconsinites say, to the lake.
I too like the play on words for the website today. What fun!

What a lovely garden scene...beautiful sky and clouds...perfect for a spring day! Your little trail of snails are perfectly darling and so colorful creeping through your grassy grounds (quite clever)!

Love the words you paired up with your fun bunch of snails! Fabulous BG too! I personally always enjoyed drawing snails (pretty easy). So I remember writing a story in Spanish class in school called "El Caracol Mas Pequeno"--The Smallest Snail. Poor little guy got picked on by all the bigger snails. LOL!
