I have been sorting my stamps for a long while now and a few weeks ago I decided the horse stamps needed to get inky. specifically not this one ha ha, This one was a surprise in the box so, it got added to the inventory file and I did stamp this with some Versafine and color with not quite 50 shades of gray but, more than a few. I was trying to get a painted hide design but, I think I left the dark parts too pale to really show that the nose and parts of the neck are a taupe/cream color. (I was afraid if I went too dark I would lose all the definition in the horses face) and I was really trying to mimic the black and white photo seen here. There is a closer look at this on the blog here and you can find this challenge here to play along with us. tfl.

Oh, Stacy, what a stunning card, and I really LOVE the mustang and your perfect coloring. Just right! Love the corrugated background and how handsome it is. But the sentiment! I LOVE it, and I can relate to it since I've been having voice issues. Fun card and a wonderful one for the piece you chose! Hugs and love! xoxo

I love your neutral palette; the colouring of your beautiful image is gorgeous! That corrugated panel and textured bordering strip really give this a natural feel. Such a lovely card!
