I was hoping to stamp big blooms onto the glossy photo card that had been dunked in re-inkers....nothing was quite big enough, that's when I remembered my jumbo daisy punch.
It's been years since my punches have seen the light of day, I'm sure glad I kept them though. To give the petals a bit of character I used a 0.8mm micron pen and doodled around the edges.
The flower pot was made by dunking the glossy card in diluted Dylusions ink spray. Wait a few seconds, then wipe off the excess inky water with paper towel, cloth etc. Same technique when using the re-inkers on glossy paper. I embossed the glossy card and cut it into the shape of a flower pot.
The card needed something so I cut a long strip of black cardstock and road tested white dots, dashes etc to work out what would look best. If I'm testing something, I often do it on acetate and then lay it over the card to make sure it looks ok before committing it to the actual card.
As I am hosting this weeks Teaparty, I was able to make this card before leaving on our holiday. DH and I are away in our caravan until the end of May. It might take me a few days to comment on your cards (the internet signal is not always good). Thank you so much for looking and thank you Joan (smileyjoan) for suggesting this Teaparty for Caterina.

Wow, Susie - I can see why this got onto the Favourites list prematurely. Those big daisies are drop-dead gorgeous. Great use of the punch. Love the long blades of grass, and the hint of texture in the pot is perfect.

This is just unbelievable Susie, and by unbelievable, I mean - fabulous! What a joyful pot of flowers this is to send to Caterina. I was looking at these flowers thinking this looks exactly like the punch I use to make 3D roses with, and sure enough, it is. I would never ever have thought to doodle around the edges of the petals so thank you for the wonderful inspiration on that. I love the black background and your wonderful white doodling too. Caterina is going to be smiling from ear-to-ear when she opens this beauty up from you! ~Karen.

Wonderful challenge Susie - Caterina will be surprised when she's soon surrounded by all the beautiful blooms that I've seen in the gallery. This is especially lovely. I'm glad your punches got some love. You need to pull them out and use them more often because this is spectacular!
